What does the car hire include?
The vehicle comes equipped with a roof top tent which has a sleeping space ready; the tent is well insulated, water- and weatherproof. Included is a comfortable mattress, clean sheet, and 2 pillows. Should you need a sleeping bag, it can be rented for a minimal extra fee.
All cancellations are repaid in full, on the condition that they are made with a minimum notice of 24 hrs.
What age do you have to be to hire a camping car?
At least 20 years of age, and have held a drivers license for a minimum of 1 year.
No, each rental comes with unlimited mileage included.
What are the dimensions of the Roof Top Tent?
The dimensions are 210cm X 130cm (83inc X 51inc), so it is fairly roomy for two persons.
How is the condition of the cars?
To maintain high levels of safety for our clients all our vehicles undergo rigorous inspections by authorized mechanics and regular mandatory inspections by icelandic authorities.
What documents do I need to bring to hire a car in Iceland?
Your passport and a driver’s license that is valid for driving in Europe.
Can you have additional drivers?
You can – for a small fee.
What is the minimum length of hire you will allow?
The minimum booking period we offer is 3 days / 72 hrs.
What is the maximum length of hire?
There is no limit – a la 2 unlimited 😉
